Nice to meet you, I'm Oscar. For over twenty years, I have transformed chaos into streamlined, secure systems that work seamlessly and reliably, with pride in my work. Starting in 2003, I was hands-on from the ground up, opening a neighborhood grocery store from bare concrete, running cable, building networks, and securing point-of-sale systems under strict least-privilege policies. I didn't just install technology; I created processes that kept every cash drawer airtight, handling every role from janitor to manager. Ten years later, with our footprint tripled, not one deposit was ever short or missed.
In 2014, I launched a print and design business blending technology and creativity. I terminated my own Cat6 cable runs, installed digital signage systems, trained teams remotely past midnight, and developed manuals and standard operating procedures that reduced downtime with minimal client intervention while reinforcing a client-first philosophy.
By the end of 2023, I had built two thriving businesses from scratch. That's when I decided to follow the passion that had been pulling at me for years: cybersecurity. I earned certifications including CompTIA Security+, Network+, and BCR Cyber SOC Analyst I. I honed my skills with Splunk dashboards, Python scripting, and Linux troubleshooting, turning every "it just broke" moment into a documented root cause and solution while freelancing.
Whether managing "cleanup on aisle 2" after a spill, fixing and preventing the dreaded "the POS is down," coordinating police and insurance after an 11 PM car crash through the storefront, or arriving at 2 AM after a break-in to communicate with law enforcement, secure the breach, and open on time, I have been there and done that.
